We have a vacancy for a Key Account Manager with industry experience in transport and warehousing who is a great people person. We are looking for a true sales person who is also able to maintain and grow existing accounts as well as seize opportunities.
Responsibilities will include:
• Over achieving revenue and profit targets for nominated accounts
• Winning new accounts
• Opening up new Customer relationships
• Driving growth and development of the business through key accounts
• Taking ownership and coordinating the management processes in line with the business and customers’ requirements
• Forward planning for future requirements
• Reviewing and developing processes to help standardise, minimise waste and increase efficiency
• Managing project activity within the customers
• Developing systems to promote transparency within the department and reporting
• Taking a proactive approach in reducing costs and improving efficiency
• Keeping the teams and the business well informed
Candidates must have proven sales experience in a similar role.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5.30pm, plus any reasonable requirements associated with the position. This role may include requirements to travel in the UK and abroad.
Amco Services (International) Ltd. are recruiting for motivated, professional and customer-centric individuals to operate as ambassadors for AMCO and help maintain a first-class transport service. These are permanent positions operating from our Redditch based logistics facility.
As well as the full compliance with all Company and customer policies, procedures and health & safety requirements, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of our customers’ goods; both locally and across the UK.
Based on a 40 hour contract, your normal working hours will be 60 hours per week, Monday to Friday – days and nights (12 hour shifts, back-to-back) – Some weekend working is also an essential requirement to help support our customers varied workload.
We are offering competitive rates of pay with occasional overtime; 33 days holiday per year including bank holidays (N.B. some annual holiday may be required to be taken to coincide with our customers’ annual shutdowns dependent on the contract successful candidates are assigned to).

Salary: £11.00 to £12.00 /hour
